After surviving countless hardships, he eventually became a Grand Archmage. But by then, Arsilan was already on the brink of destruction due to an entity known as the Corruption. Jin-woo, the only person from Earth immune to the Corruption, was their sole hope. But even as a Grand Archmage, it was impossible for him to face the endless waves of Corruption alone in just three short years. "I just want to let everything go... and finally rest." The moment he gave up on everything and emptied his heart, Jin-woo ascended beyond mortality. After becoming a Transcendent, he gained the absolute authority known as the Gate of Souls, allowing him to travel freely between Earth and Arsilan. Using the Gate of Souls, he summoned Earthlings who were also immune to the Corruption into Arsilan, tricking them into believing it was all just a game, and having them fight the Corruption instead. Thus, began the Arsilan Saga Project.
